Forty-two young people from
Pensacola, Florida, were in our
community last Tuesday night when
the United Generation sang at the Fort
Valley United Methodist Church. This
Saturday night a youth group
from Leeds, Alabama, will perform at
the First Baptist Church at 7:30. We
welcome all of these young people.

Rowland has been released from the
hospital and is recuperating at the
home of friends. We hope that he will

elects officers
The Pilot Club of Peach County
recently installed new officers for the
coming year. Elected president was
Dot Price, while Cheryl Thompson was
chosen vice-president. New treasurer
is Adina Bailey. Donna Mills is
corresponding secretary and Barbara
Nelson is recording secretary.
