Bowden captures second Pigskin title
The Pigskin Pageant on Friday,
February 26, was a howling suc¬
cess and competition was keen
among the 15 contestants. David
Bowden, aka “Miss Bambi”
Bowden, edged out his fellows to
place first, followed by Alton
Griffin, aka “Miss Wee-Wee” Her¬
man, and Dwight Byrd, aka Min
nie Pearl “The New." Byrd also

School Auditorium, the event was

Trojan Touchdown Club. Master
of Ceremonies was football coach,

Proceeds will go to purchase
Enforcement Administration, whose represen¬
tative in the picture is Bill Malarney, far left.
This money comes as a result of the Rica case
in 1984, at which time the U.S. Supreme Court
declared that money taken in drug cases
could on a percentage basis be distributed
among the law enforcement agencies par¬
ticipating in the arrests.

THE PCHS CAFETERIA WAS THE SiTE OF THE ANNUAL TROJAN FOOTBALL
awards banquet on Tuesday, February 16. Last week, we
featured the senior trophy winners. In this week’s photos, top
left - pictured are some of the 17 first-year lettermen who were
awarded their coveted letter jackets. Top right: admiring their
plaques are Trojan cheerleaders, left to right - Tonya Massey,

left: Becky and Lee Forehand were presented plaque with a
poem about the birth of Trojan Pride, written by Gloria Walton.
