Unusual snow storm hits Middle Georgia
Last Thursday a rather unusual February snow hit Peach County after weeks of above normal
temperatures. The low pressure area had such high winds that the snow was literally "blowing side¬
ways" as it fell. As a result, only one side of the trees and telephone poles were covered in the powdery
white stuff. Temperatures remained cold throughout the day, allowing a few photographs to be taken.
