covenants and ad valorem taxes due

adoption of the child by another, nor has
the parent any right to object to the
adoption, or otherwise to participate in

proposals will be publicly opened and

31208. Applications for documents to¬
gether with deposit of $100.00 per set
should be filed promptly with the Archi¬
tect. Bidding material will be forwarded

amount of the deposit for two (2) sets
will be refunded to each General within
30 days after date of opening of bids. All
other deposits will be refunded with de¬
duction approximating the cost of repro¬

Contract, if ^warded, will be on a
lump sum basis to the lowest responsi¬
ble and qualified bidder. No bid may be
withdrawn for a period of 35 days after

CHARTER SERVICE REGULATIONS
The Board of Commissioners of
Peach County is applying for federal as¬
sistance for the Section 18 Rural Trans¬
portation Program. As a part of the
Peach Transit System'operation we of¬
fer charter service on an incidental ba¬
sis. Charter service is usually provided
using two 1990 15 passenger vans with
A/C and mobile radios and one van with
A/C, mobile radio and lift equipped and
is limited to weekend service. The ser¬
vice will transport contracting groups to
points within the state of Georgia.
Any private charter operator willing
and able to provide this service should
submit written evidence within 30 days
of the date of this notice. Evidence of
willing and able should include a state¬
ment that there is a desire and the ap¬
propriate type of vehicles to provide the
service, documentation of PSC Certifi¬
cate of Necessity and safety certifica¬
tions, and licensing.
No submission will be considered
after the deadline. Each private operator
will be informed of the results of the re¬
view within 60 days of the deadline. If a
private operator is identified, the Peach
County Transit System will not provide
charter service.

Payment of the Contract amount will
be made on a periodic basis on applica¬
tions for payment from the contractor
and approved by the engineer based on
work accomplished, products furnished
and products stored at the site. Such
progress payment requests shall be
submitted by the contractor no later than
the 25th day of each month during the
term of the Contract and shall be paid
by the Owner within thirty (30) days after
receipt of approved progress payment
requests, less the retainage and other
deductions provided in the Contract
Documents. Further details concerning
the payment provisions of the Contract
are contained in Section 14 of the Gen¬
eral Conditions of the Contract Docu¬
ments.
This bid shall be considered good and
may not be withdrawn for a period of 60
days after the actual date of the opening
thereof.

present John Maxwell in the stage
performance of “Oh, Mr. Faulkner,

8:00 p.m. in the Russell Hall The¬
atre.
The performance will be a por¬
trait of William Faulkner, the writ¬
er, the storyteller, and the man. The
set is closely patterned after Rowan
Oak, Faulkner’s home in Ocford
Mississippi.
