Joint cantata highlights season
Yo, Zac Gowen, your mama
wears combat boots! And she
knows how to play with the big
boys too, even when one of the big
boys takes her knife away and
forces her to the ground, and yes,
even when she’s shot in the arm
while playing paint ball.
That’s just a few of the things that
happened last weekend when I
went out with Fort Valley's SWAT
team, officially called SRT, or Spe¬
cial response Team.. I hope to have
pictures and lots of good stuff to
tell you next week.

Lisa Jordan came home for the
weekend and brought a friend, she,
like several other college students,
came home this week and will be
back in town in a few days to have
Thanksgiving with their families.

We have many things to be thank¬
ful for this Thanksgiving season.
I’m glad Zac was able to get 4 days
off to come home. I’m really glad
Daddy has his diabetes under con¬
trol and is going to be at our house
for dinner. 1 am thankful for my
extended family, including a new
niece-in-law, and all my friends.
Ed ad I took a long walk Sunday
afternoon and enjoyed the autumn
leaves. We lost count of the number
of houses with yellow bows, all of
which symbolize someone’s love
for Buddy Reddick.

I am happy every day to be in Fort
Valley. Anytime 1 start to think dif¬
ferently, I think of places that I'd
rather live, and can't come up with
a single place better than my home
town.
