Read In a great success
February 26th was a special
night at Fort Valley Middle
School We had our first ‘Read
In " One hundred fourteen stu¬
dents joined parents, faculty
and staff of FVMS, and Dr
Dixon to spend the night read
ing. Ail of us gathered in the
gymnasium with sleeping
bags, pillows, snacks, and two
GOOD BOOKS Every two
hours, we took a break for
snacks, socializing, or a quick
game of pictionary

compete in Georgias Slock Mar
ket Game, the second largest in
the nation. Over a half million
Georgia students have competed
in the GCEE’s Stock Market
Game since 1980.

ruxed at an annual Stodt Market
Game Awards Luncheon in
Atlanta on May 18

Georgia Age divisions for
pageant are Tiny Miss - age
- 6 yrs, Little Man - age 7 - 10
Junior Miss age 11 - 13 yrs.
Miss age 14 - 16 yrs and
Miss age 17 23 yrs
The Miss Georgia Peach will
receive scholarship money and
queens will receive a crown,
banner, trophy and prize basket
Queens will be the official ambus- -
sadors during the Georgia ffeadh
