On August 17, 1999 at app.'2138 hr*. CpI
David Dean, a Deputy Sheriff with the Peach
County Sheriff Office made a traffic slop on a
1968 tractor trailer on 175 to Peach County tor
a traffic violation. A check of the driver’s
license showed that the license was suspend¬
ed. The driver was arrested. The passenger in
the vehicle. Clifton Glenn Hammond, was
asked to step from the the vehicle and a pat
down was conducted, dunng which Mr. Ham¬
mond stated he had a pistol in his pocket.
Deputies recovered a pistol from the from
pants pocket of Mr Hammond, at which time
he was arrested for carrying a concealed
weapon. During a search of Mr. Hammond's
person Incident to this arrest, Deputies racov
ereda white Tylenol Bottle containing an
amount t ot Methamphetamine and $931.00 to
U.S. Currency from the front pants pocket ol
Mr Hammond. A search ol the vehicle was
conducted during which deputies recovered a
Glock Model 17 Pistol and Smith and Wesson
Model 19 Revolver from a bag located to the
vehicle that belonged to Mr. Hammond. A com¬
puter check was run on Hammond that
showed he was wanted by ATF out of Ken¬
tucky on drug and weapons charges. You ara
further notified that you may tile a claim within
thirty (30) days of the second publication of
this NOTICE OF SEIZURE by sending a claim
to the seizing law enforcement agency
