Now Software for Public Access Computers at Peach Public libraries On Thursday, June 7th, Thomas Public Library in Fort Valley will be installing new software that enables self-service sign up for pub¬ lic access computers and new options for managing printing. The new software is designed to ensure that ail library users receive fair and equitable access to computers. Automated features will allow everyone with a valid PINES library card to sign up for computer use at Peach Public Libraries. Features of this new software will offer patrons better privacy, convenience and control. Next available personal computers can be more easily identified. Information ill’ will appear on screen about the number of pages and cost before you send print information to the printer. This option allows better control over what you choose to print and eliminates the extra costs associated with unwanted print jobs. During installation on June 7th, there will be no computer services available at Thomas Public Library. We appreciate your patience as we implement these new services.
