THE LEADER-TRIBUNE
SPORTS CLASSIFIEDS LEGALS
June 6, 2007
Are you ready for
some football?
By A. W. Dorsey
L-T Writer
If you are, then be at Anderson Field on June 26 at 6:00. That is
when the passing league for 2007 will get underway. This is a time
for the quarterbacks to get their timing down, to hone their passing
arms in shape. Also it is a time for the receivers to work on pass
routes, timing and catching the bail. It is also a time for the defen
sive backs to learn their defensive tasks.
There are several teams involved in this. Along with Peach, Mary
Persons and Northside have committed to come. Others will be
joining.
If you like passing, passing and more passing, then this is the
place to be. It will be on Tuesday and Thursday each week for four
weeks beginning June 26. There will be no running plays.
