Volunteer activities include public speaking, staff ing information tables at driver license offices and health fairs, presentations to nursing and medical staff, and more. This fun-filled show is show is designed for children ages 5 and younger but will delight audiences of all ages. v Children will be amazed and entertained as puppeteer Peter Hart brings his lovable charac¬ ters to life in several interactive routines. The Fluffy Duckie Trio, who are friends of Peter Rabbit, will hatch from a colorful egg and lead the audience in their version of the “Chicken Dance.” Peter and Benjamin Rabbit, large 40 inch plush body marionettes, will walk into the audience to receive hugs. Later, the audience will clap English as a Second Language Class A class created to help individuals learn English as a second language (ESL) will begin on April 14, at the Literacy Center of Macon County. Classes will be held every Tiiesday and Thursday evening from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. There is no cost for the class. If you are interested please call the Literacy Center at 478-472-2777.
