Volunteer activities include public speaking, staff ing information tables at driver license offices and health fairs, presentations to nursing and medical staff, and more. Potential volunteers include recipients and their families, patients waiting for an organ and tissue transplant, donor families, or anyone interested in organ and tissue donation. This fun-filled show is show is designed for children ages 5 and younger but will delight audiences of all ages. v Children will be amazed and entertained as puppeteer Peter Hart brings his lovable charac¬ ters to life in several interactive routines. The Fluffy Duckie Trio, who are friends of Peter Rabbit, will hatch from a colorful egg and lead the audience in their version of the “Chicken Dance.” Peter and Benjamin Rabbit, large 40 inch plush body marionettes, will walk into the audience to receive hugs. Later, the audience will clap English as a Second Language Class A class created to help individuals learn English as a second language (ESL) will begin on April 14, at the Literacy Center of Macon County. Classes will be held every Tiiesday and Thursday evening from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. There is no cost for the class. If you are interested please call the Literacy Center at 478-472-2777. The Literacy Center is located at 736 Highway 26 West in Oglethorpe near Fast Flint Service Station. THE LEADER TRIBUNE along as the Mountain Bunny Family does some Bluegrass Fiddlin’. The Courageous Pink Bunny will captivate the audience as he demonstrates his bravery by being catapulted across the stage, flying through a hoop and landing safely on the other side. For the exciting grand finale, Peter Rabbit will dress in a magnificent costume, amazing children as colorful confetti and streamers fill the air. Before the show, stop by par¬ ticipating merchants for some candy-filled eggs. Gift certifi¬ cates from participating mer¬ chants will be hidden in some of the eggs.
