560-foot arch of a bridge at Oporto,
Portugal. The approach on the Canadian

OBITUARY.
In memory of Ahiganc Puckett, daugh
ter of Koliert and 8nlllo Carter, was lairn
May 18tli, 1818, and died May HOtli, 18UH.
She united with the Baptist church at
Concord, Cobh county, Ga., In the year
1830. During the same year she was mar
ried to Edmond Puckett, 'tho was a mem
ber of the same church.
In 1880, they removed their member
ship to New Hope church in I’alildlug
county, in which they remalnedlnntll their
deaths! Her liiishniid died during the
late war ami she remained a widow until
her ilenth.
She died at the homo of Iter daughter,
Mrs. Monroe Rone, and hy her rerpiest
was hurled In the New Ilnpe cemetery.
She leaves right children and many
friends to sudly mourn her loss.
