to the peach growers, as-the buds
will not. come forth for many

pleasantly passed by our young

On account of the illness of
the editor during last, week
(Jnde Harvey Crew Dead.
On last Friday morning about j
nine o’clork, Undo Harvey Crew
dropped dead in his lot while at:
work. lie had spoken of feeling
better than usual a short time
before his death. Heart trouble
is the cause assigned.
Sixty years ago Uncle Harvey
came to this county from Carroll
county, and has remained a
citizen of Paulding ever since.
He married the wife that sur
vives him in this county. He
also leaves two children, Rev.
William H. Crew and Mrs. Arch
Holland,
Uncle Harvey lived in a well
fixed home off a piece from the
Dallas and Rockmarf public
road where he spent many jovial,
happy days with his family. He
was always held in high esteem
by liis fellow citizens and was
holding the office of Notary Pub
lic when he died. He served in
the Confedera’e army. Hie was
in his seventy-third year.
The interment, took place at
High Shoals cemetery on last
Saturday afternoon.

reaved relatives and friends.
