chickens, and have not sold half

acre. She also works for a fami
ly of eight, and hoes cotton every

was interred at Nebo church Sat
urday. The funeral was con
ducted by Rev. Walton. She
leaves a husband and one little
daughter to mourn her loss. The
bereaved have our sympathy.

go with our boys to church and
have them to go in the church
in time of services, or keep them
at home. Fathers and mothers
don’t raise any boys for the
chain-gang, or gallows.
