A man in Indiana, return

other day, found his neighbor
just leaving the house, and
being of a jealous nature,
raised his gun and filled the
man’s legs with fine shot. A
lawsuit followed, and it was

Probably the largest suit
ever brought in Paulding
county, says the Marrietta
Journal, was filed against the
Atlanta & Birmingham Air
Line Railway Company. It
is the suit of T. B. Redmond
& Co., who were contractors
for the construction of a num
ber of sections on the new
railroad built through Pauld
ing and Polk counties. The
suit is for $95,400, and for the
foreclosure of a lien of $70,-
000. The plaintiffs claim that
the engineers who made the
final estimate for the railroad
company are partisan and in
correct in their report to the'
amount of which the suit is
brought, and that the balance
is still due on the cantracts
by the railroad company.
