display at Dallas Friday.
It looked sorter like old
times at Zion Sunday. Quite
a large crowd out. Rev. Jay
gave 11s a good sermon. All
interested are requested to
meet at Zion next Sunday
evening at 2 o’clock, for the
purppse of organizing a choir
and Sunday school. Come
one and all and bring your
singing books—and children.
Sim Strickland purchased a

from this place in some time I
thought I would write a few
lines.
The health of this section
is very good at present.
The farmers are busy these
beautiful days.
we have a flourishing school
at this place.
The program at the school
house at thiB place was a suc

Durham Finch. Mr. Turner, of
Dallas, gave an interesting talk.
S. W. Ragsdale, Charlie Holland,
William Holland had some in
teresting dialogues. There was
a large crowd here, and it w as en
joyed by all.

Messrs. John, Snowden, Arthur

Hattie and Ida Holland a pleas
ant call Sunday afternoon.

The school at this place has
numbered 70 pupils this term,
but on account of measles had to
suspend one month, and has
opened again with a very good
attendance and will continue un
