Several fiom here at'ended services at Silver Shoals Sunday afternoon. Mr. M. B. Rice who has been visiting in South Georgia, for the past three months has re turned home. Mr and Mrs. B. J. Light spent Saturday night and Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Pierce. Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Westbrook spent Sunday with Mr T. J. Thompson and family. Mr. W. F. Orr and wife and little son Otto, were visitors at Mr. W. T. Bagby’s Saturday night. School closed at this place Friday the 16th. Miss Jones re turned to her home at Dawson ville Tuesday. She was an ex cellent teacher and made many friends while here. Mrs. R. H. Thompson spent a few days first of the week with Mrs. W. T. Bagby. Miss Ella Light was the guest of her sister, Mrs Leonard Boyd a few days last week. Mr. G. P. Jennings and fam ily spent Sunday with Mr. T. J. Thompson and family. Don't forget the singing the first Sunday afternoon. Sunday school has been chan ged for next Sunday from 9:30 until 1 o’clock. Let everybody come out and take part. Wyolene. ROUTE 7. Those that visited Miss Mamie Aarons one day last week were Miss Agnes and Mattie Day, Nellie Estes and Dollie Ridens. Mr. Homer Tollison and wife spent Sunday with the latter pa rents.
