Oh, her little fife on earth was short being not quite two years old. Little Gertrude lea -I ves a father, mother, and 3 sisters besides other relatives and friends to mourn her loss. It is sad to think we can never see little Gertrude lire on earth again. Home seems so sad the little chair is empty, the room seems to say no more joy, and grieve not father, mother after little Gertrude because we are sure she had no sin. Roper her remains were laid to rest in Midway cemetery to await the last coming of Christ, when the dead shall be raised from the grave and the sleeping saints shall be carried home to heaven.
