Rev Charlie Brown preached an interesting sermon at this place Sunday afternoon. Mr and Mrs Wiley Benson spent last Monday night with Mr and Mrs Winchester Ben' son. Mr Albert Sewell and fami ly spent Saturday night with Mr J A Phagan and family. Miss Azzie Benson is spend ing sometime with her sister in Fort Valley. Mr J L Johnson is spending the winter with Mr Wiley Ma jors of near Rochelle. Master Edwin Benson of near Flowery Branch is spending a few days with her uncle Mr W W. Benson. Miss Geneva Johnson, who has been spending several days with friends in Buford, has returned home. Mrs Julia Driskell and child ren are spending a few days with Mrs Martha Driskell. Miss Bertha Mae Johnson spent one night last week with her grand-mother, Mrs S Ben son. Little Eugene and Fausteei. Tidwell spent one afternoon of last week with Bertha Mae. Zella and John Johnson. OAK GROVE. Here I come again after be in# absent for several weeks. Misses Ivey Bagwell and Ar zie Boles spent Saturday night with Mr Down Allen. Mr Edward Lively returned to his home in Atlanta Monday after a few days visit to Mr Ed gar Hansard. Mrs Florence Holbrook anil children spent Saturday night with Mrs Senda Bagwell. Messrs J W, Edgar a id Iloyt Hansard, Misses Cora and O vell Hansard spent Monday in Atlanta. Mra Senda Bagwell spent Sunday night at Mr Hiram Bo! es. Miss Ivy King is spending a while in Atlanta wit hher aunt Mrs Pearl Pugh. The pound supper and apron party given by Glady Christo pher was enjoyed by all. Mr Tom Chatham and fam ily spent Sunday with Mr Will McGinnus and family. Mr Ezra Chadwick and fam ily spent Saturday night and Sunday with Mr Henry Chad v. ick and family. Mr and Mrs Luther Harris pent Sunday with Mr Jack Harris and family. Miss Mary Chatham spent Sunday afternoon with Mr & Mrs Charlie Chadwick. Mr and Mrs Verner Harris spent Saturday night and Sun day at Mr W H Martin’s. Mr A L Day is all smiles—lts a fine girl. Mr John McGinnus and fam ily spent Thanksgiving with Mr W W Reid ad family. Misses Sophie and Ball Nix and Era Martin spent Sunday afternoon with Lizzie Taiiant. Mrs Alice Hawkins of Ball Ground is with home folks, con fined to her bed with tlu. HOPEWELL. Yea, we had snow last Sun day niglit but it didn’t stay long. Mrs Maude Hughes and two daughters Bessie and Carrie, spent last Sunday with Mrs. Marr.i-; West. Miss Bessie Wallis, who has been in school at Oakwood.we are scary to say is sick. Hope she will soon be able to be back in school. Mr Lee Jackson and family i were visitors at Mr J F Wallis last. Saturday nigh;. Mrs L C Hughes is reported sick. Hope she will soon be out again. Mr Andy Wallis has sold his place and expect to move to Gainesville soon. Also Mr. Henry Wallis has sold his place and will move to Gainesville. These farms were purchased by Mr Elbert Godfrey. Mr Vardie Wallis and fam ily of Dawson county visited at Mr. Andy Wallis Sunday. Mrs S C Tatum of Cummirg is spending a few day-) with Mr Lee Tatum. Mr Will Barnwell and sister Miss Mattie of Alto spent the Thanksgiving with honieiolks. * PLEASANT VIEW. Rev Wallace filled his ap pointment here Saturday and Sunday and of course he done some good preaching. Mr J T Brannon, who has been sick, we are glad to say is better. Rev. Braddy filled his appoint ment at Concord Saturday & Sunday. Some nice hogs are being kill ed these days which is a migh ty good thing for farmers. Bros. Hillis McGinnus and Henry Boling will preach here next Sunday at 2:30. Every body invited to come and hear the young men. This will be the first time for Hillis, and we ought to all go and encour age the young brother. We are glad to know that a good many of the boys will be at home soon and bring glad ness to many broken hearted mothers. Road Notice. Georgia, Forsyth County. W. M.
