Of our mother, Mrs Sarah E.
Heard, who departed this life
May 15, 1919. She was born De
cember 23rd, 18-19, ar.d joined
the church at Beaver Ruin at
a very young age, and lived a
Christian life until death.
She was married to R. H.
Heard in. 1876, and they lived
a happy life until 20 years ago
when the Lord saw tit to call
him home. Five children were
bor nto them three boys and 2
girls, all of whom are living in
Forsyth county, except one who
was claimed by death a few
years ago. Those liveng are W.
I). Heard, J. E. Heard, Guy W.
Heard, Mrs. N. T. Samples.. She
had 17 grandchildren. She was
an invalid for about 17 years &
was unable to attend her meet
ings. She bore her suffering
without grumbling until the
last. Her remains were laid to
rest at Shady Grove after fu
neral services conducted by
Rev. Robinson.
We mourn to see the ones we
love, laid low beneath the s'-
lent sod, but they we know has
past above, into the paradise of
God. Written by her son,

she is improving some now.

The state of Georgia, by and
through John T. Dorsey, Solicit
or General of the Blue Ridge
Circuit, as relator, shows the fol
lowing facts:
Ist. That on July 1, W. T.
Merritt, sheriff of said county,
an arresting officer in the coun
ty of Forsyth seized a certain
Ford Roadster automobile 1919
model, motor No. 3142700, Li
cense tag No. 28548-Ga. 1919,
said automobile being owned
and operated by, and in the pos
session of, one Almon Street
man, and containing at the time
of said seizure twenty five gal
lons of intoxicating liquors,corn
whiskey, the sale or possession
of which is prohibited by law,
and said automobile was being
then and there used on the pub
lic highways of said Forsyth
County.
2nd. That said automobile a
bove referred to is now in the
possession of said W. T. Merritt
Sheriff and arresting officer, as
aforesaid, who has the same in
his control at Cumming, Geor
gia, the same being held by him
pending the disposition thereof

3rd. That the foregoing facts
