Card of Thank#.
Of my dear father. We have
lost a good friend whom I lov
|ed. Dear papa is gone. He was
born Aug. 24th, and the Lord
called him home on the 7h day
of April, 1920.
We wish to say to all who
rendered their sendees and
sympathy in the short illness
and death of our dear father
that you have our many thanks
and we will ever remember you
for the many favors and love
you rendered us in our sad be
reavement.
Mother, papa is gone and
left us alone. It is sad but God
knows best. Papa joined the
Baptist church at Friendship
in 1919. It is sad to go home &
not see him. He loved his home
his church and friends. We all
loved him. His reward is with
Jesus, the precious and good.
His trials were many but pa
tiently withstood. His feeble
body we laid to rest gently un
der the sod, but papa is in hea
ven rejoicing with God. How
keenly we feel our loss; how
we feel the need of him in hie j
home.
We sincerely thank each and
every one who attended him in
the least during his illness.
Would that we could repay you
all a double fold. May heavens
blessings attend them all.
Malcom Tutton.
