The communion services at this
place Sunday was attended by a large
crowd. We had some line preaching
hy Rev. L. Burgess and our pastor
ltev. P. W. Tribble. There was a good
singing also, In the afternoon
The many friends of Mrs. Will
Thompson, were sorry to hear oi her
death, which occured Saturday after
noon at the home of her son, Mr.
Grady Thompson near Canton. The
funeral was held at this place Sun
day afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, the
funeral was conducted by Rev. P. W.
Tribble and Rev. Dawsie Nalley
Miss Ruby Burton o Duluth was the
weekend visitor of Miss Hazel Bag

The school here closed with three
nights of entertainment, Thursday,

DEDICATION SERVICE HELD
AT ROANOKE CHURCH
On last Sunday a dedication service
was held at Roanoke for the new
church, the program was as follows:

Miller, followed by Rev. G.M AVheeler
3 Short talk by Rev. J. W. Thomas
and Rev. L. R. Major
We had with as a good crowd, we
welcome yuo and want you to come
hack again
On Saturday before the fourth Sun
day in June we want all the mem
bers of this church to meet for the
purpose of calling a pastor and
electing a church clerk
On next Sunday, May 29, at 2:00
o’clock, we want to meet and organize
a Sunday school at this place, every
body come out and help us
Now let us say we thank each and
every one that helped in any way to
rebuild our church. May God bless
each one of you, is our prayer
ANNUAL SINGING
The annual singing will meet at
Oak Grove church the first Sunday
in June
