they can, against the granting of this
discharge at the regular term of
Court of Ordinary of said County to
be held on the first Monday in July,
1942.

notified that proceedings to condemn
the above described property as for
feited on account of same having been
used in the transportation of intoxi
cating whiskey in said County of For
syth has been filed in the Superior
Court of Forsyth County, on the Bth
(lay of April 1912, and you and each
of yon are required to be and appear
in said County within thirty days
from said date and file your defense,
if any, you have, why judgment of
condemnation should not be entered
against said described property.

Miss Helen Matthews had charge last
Saturday afternoon. 25 children were
present. Mrs. A. R. Housley will as
sist Mrs. Hockenhull next Saturday
afternoon. The hour is from 3:00 to
4:00.
Staff Sgt. and Mrs. R. V. Livingston
of Fort Jackson and Columbia S. C.
spent a few days last week with the
latter's parents Mr. and Mrs. Joe W.
Carruth of near dimming. Mrs. Liv
ingston will remain with her parents
until the early part of July when she
will join her husband at Camp For
rest, Tennessee where he will be for
the next few months.
Mr. and Mrs. John M. Hughes had
as their guest Sunday Mrs. Lucile
Burgamy and a friend from Atlanta,
Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Huggins, Mr. H.
A. Garner from Atlanta, Mrs. J. B.
Hadaway and daughter Louise from
Canton, Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Martin
and Mr. George Holbrook.

The R. E. A. Lines which were re
cently damaged by wind storm were
all in good condition Sunday after
noon. The linemen worked on them
all day last Saturday, Saturday night
and until late Sunday afternoon. A
number of trees had been blown
down on the lines.
