Why is it that peddlers of trash succeed while
writers of thought-provoking material starve?
A little courteousy behind the wheel may some
day save you a trip in a hearse
You might not remember it, but it was just 39
years ago, May 7th, that a German submarine
sunk the Lusitania

The American people know automobile value better than any other people
on earth. So, to gain widespread public favor, a car must be good. But to be
first in public favor, a car must be better than all others, on a dollar-for
dollar basis! And it is on this basis that Ford has earned sales leadership
over all other cars in the nation! Just look at Ford and see the trend-setting
styling it offers in its 14 brilliant body' styles, with beautifully harmonized
interiors. Check its features and you’ll find that only Ford in its field offers
Ball-Joint Front Suspension, for easier riding and handling . . . only Ford
offers your choice of the industry’s most modem engines: the 130-h.p.
Y-block V-8 and 115-h.p. I-block Six. Test Drive Ford and feel the won
derful performance, driving ease, and relaxing ride it gives you . . . and
you’ll want to end your Test Drive- right in your own home garage!

ROTATION GRAZING^
Dairy specialists at the University
of Georgia Agricultural Extension
Service strongly recommend rotat
ion grazing for dairy cows. They
point out that, in practically every
test on the value of rotation grazing
dairy cows have responded with an
increase in milk when grazed on a
new area, although there is little
difference in the areas as far as
humans can tell.
HANDLE WITH CARE
Careful washing of gloves that
are labeled “washable” is necessary.
Use a rich, neutral suds and luke
warm water. Put the gloves on and
wash them like you wash your own
hands. Rinse gloves thoroughly in
lukewarm water and lay them flat
on a towel to dry at room temper
ature and away from the sun.

ADDING GARLIC TO SALADS
The most practical way to add
garlic flavor to a salad dressing is
to keep on hand a special bottle of
salad oil to which has been added
several garlic pods. This oil will al
ways have the right flavor of gar
lic. It saves time, too, in putting the
salad dressing together.
