POWER _yp\

t
TOWERING Sinclair Dam, which will be dedi-'
catcd on July 28, is still another source of
electric power for Georgia.
This hydroelectric development has a production
capacity of 45,000 kilowatts, or approximately
60,000 horsepower. It creates energy for a thousand
jobs, at home, on the farm, in business and industry.
| As Sinclair Dam is a great source of power,
its reservoir, 15,000-acre Lake Sinclair, will be
1 a great source of recreation for thousands of
Georgians who enjoy the outdoors. Already it
is becoming a popular playground.
| Sinclair Dam is another completed project in
our long-range expansion program, which in the
past 10 years has more than doubled our generating
capacity. Sinclair Dam is one more giant step
1 taken to assure you an abundant supply of depend
-1 able electricity at reasonable rates, now and in
the years ahead.
