Proposals must be submitted on
regular forms which will be sup
plied by the undersigned, and must
be accompanied by a certified check,
cashier’s check, negotiable United
States Bonds or other acceptable se
curity in the amount of $5000.00, and
must be plainly marked "Proposal
for Bridge Construction”, County
and Number, and show the time of
epening as advertised. Check of the
Low bidder will be cashed and all
other checks will be returned as
soo n as the contract is awarded, un
less it is deemed advisable by the
State Bridge Building Authority to
hold one or more checks. If an unu
sual condition arises, the State
Bridge Building Authority reserves
the right tto cash all checks. Bidders
Bpnd will not be accepted.
A charge of $5.00 will be made for
each proposal issued.
Such a bond will be required of

law for contractors contracting with
the State Highway Department of
Georgia.

contractors who have not been plac
