There are any number f people who could
run the nation’s foreign policy better than Pre

not in the White House and he is.

PURE RELIGION
“Pure religion and undefiled be
fore God and the Father Is this,
To visit the fatherless and widows
in their affliction, and keep him
self unspotted from the world". —
James 1: 27.
“If a brother or sister be naked,
and destitute of daily food, and one
of you say to them. Depart in
peace, be ye warmed and filled;
notwithstanding ye give them not
those things which are needful to
the body; what doth it profit?
Even so faith, if it hath not works,
is dead, being alone” James 2: 15—
17.
At least 95 percent of the cases
that have come before me for my
consideration, are families that are
having real financial problems to
even get enough to eat and wear.
The parents want their children to
attend school (in most cases) but
are not able to provide clothing
suitable for school. Just a little
help given by those who have an
over abundance of clothes and
shoes would make it possible for
dozens of children to come to
school who are not now in school.
Tohelp those who need help be
cause you love them and love God
is certainly a practical way to
practice Christianity. God is no re
spector of persons—the soul of the
pauper is just as pprecious in God’s
sight as the soult of the millionaire
If you have clothes, shoes etc.,
anything that can be worn and is
in good condition, bring it to the
Baptist church or the Methodist
church, or the Welfare office in
Cumming. These clothes will make
it possible for dozens of boys and
girls to attend school during the
winter. The clothes will keep them
warm and comfortable. This is
what I call applied Chrisianity.
