The Chattahooche Club met at
Mrs. Roscoe Thomas Tuesday
March 15, at 10 A. M.
Mrs. Howard Holland, our Nu
trition chairman was in charge of
the demonstration. We had stuffed
pork chops, hot cabbage slaw, oven
fried potatoes, coffee and rolls.
Mrrs. Bannister prepared hot fudge
pudding. Everyone was planning
to serve some of this to their
families.
We had 12 members and 3 visi
tors present. Mrrs. Tina Bagby, the
Nutrition chairman from Big Creek
Mrs. Virgie McGinnis and Mrs.
Thelma Kupper.
We received our Year Books.
They are real nice. We are meet
ing at the School house next
month. Hope to see you there.

ROSE GARDEN CLUB MEETS
The Rose Garden Club met at
the Community House Tuesday
night March 15.
The meeting was called tcT order
by Mrs. James Otwell, retiring
president, who presided as Chair
man.
Members were named who are
to serve on committees -throughout
the year in accomplishing the clubs
projects. Various committees were
appointed and tentative plans were
made to assist in holding a flower
show in affiliation with the Cum
ming Garden Club and the Saw
nee Valley Garden Club on May 27.
Further plans to enter the club’s
yearbook and scrapbook at State
Federated Garden Clubs meeting
in 1956 to compete with other
clubs throughout the state were
discussed.
Mrs. Gene Holbrook’s resignation
as Secretary was accepted and Mrs.
Joe Brooks was elected to fill the
vacancy.
The new officers for the year
are: Mrs. John Pittard, President;
Mrs. Leon Boling, Vice President;
Mrs. Joe Brooks, Secretary; Mrs.
James Henderson, Treasurer; Mrs.
Evelyn G. Tribble. Publicity Chrm.
The members present were: Mrs.
Bobby Tallant, Mrs. Walter Ruck
er, Mrs. James Otwell. Mrs. Tom
my Gravitt, Mrs. J. L. Frguson,
Mrs. Bertha Pope, Mrs. Perry Dan
