NOTICE OF ELECTION
TO THE QUALIFIED VOTERS OF
FORSYTH COUNTY, GEORGIA:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that on the 3rd day of December,
1955, an election will be held in all
the precincts of Forsyth County,
at which time there will be sub
mitted to the qualified voters of
said County for their determinat
ion the question of whether bonds
shall be issued by said County in
the aggregate principal amount of
$150,000 for the purpose of provid
ing funds to be applied towards
the acquisition, construction and
equipping of a hospital and the
usual and necessary appurtenances
useful in connection therewith, ac
quiring the necessary property
therefor and paying expenses inci
dent thereto, including placing such
hospital in operation. Said bonds
are to be dated February 1, 1956,
in the denomination of SI,OOO each,
numbered from 1 upward to 150,
inclusive, in order of maturity,
bonds numbered 1 to 89, inclusive,
maturing in the years 1957 to 1969,
inclusive, bearing interest at the
ratee of three (3) per centum per
annum, and bonds numbered 90 to
150, inclusive, maturing in the
clears 1970 to 1976, inclusive, bear
ing interest at the rate of three
and one-quarter (3 1-4) per centum
per annum, payable semi-annually
on the Ist days of February and
August in each year, and the prin
cipal of said bonds to mature on
the Ist day of February, lowest
numbers first, as follows:
$6,000 in each of the years 1957
to 1961, inclusive,
$7,000 in each of the years 1962
to 1966, inclusive,
SB,OOO in each of the years 1967
to 1971, inclusive,
$9,000 in each of the years 1972
to 1976, inclusive.
The principal of and interest on
said bonds shall be payable in law
ful money of the United States of
America at a bank or banks to be
designated at a later date.
The voting polls will be open in
all the voting precincts of the
County at 7:00 A. M. and close at
6:00 P. M. on the 3rd day of De
cember, 1955, and those qualified
to vote at said election shall be de
termined in all respects in accord
ance with the laws governing the
election for officers of Forsyth
County, Georgia.
The qualified voters at the time
of the election desiring to vote in
favor of the issuance of $150,000
Hospital Bonds will do so by cast
ing their ballots having printed or
written thereon the following
words: FOR ISSUE OF $150,000
HOSPITAL BONDS”, and those
desiring to vote against the issu
ance of $150,000 Hospital Bonds
will do so by casting their ballots
having printed or written thereon
the following words: “AGAINST
ISSUE OF $150,000 HOSPITAL
BONDS”.

perior Court, on the Bth day of
November 1955, at Canton, Georgia
for leave to sell the following de
scribed real estate belonging to
Mrs. J. R. Farr, for the purpose
of support and maintenance of his
ward and for leinvestment of the
residue from said sale.
“All that tract or parcel of land
lying and being in the City of Cum
ming, Forsyth County, Georgia, on
the East side of what is known as
Tolbert Street, between said street
and the Wilson & Co. Poultry
Plant Property, and described as
follows:
Beginning at point on East side
of said Street which is 175 feet
South of Jail Street, measuring
along said Tolbert Street, at south
west corner of Joel Bolton lot;
thence from said beginning point
in Easterly direction parallel to
and 175 feet from said Jail or
South Canton Street, a distance of
141 feet to said Wilson & Co. line
indicated by fence and fence posts;
thence Southerly along said Wilson
& Co. fence line 91 feet to fence
of T. W. Anglin, the dividing line
between this tract and the said
T. W. Anglin tract; thence Wester
ly along said Anglin fence and
hedge a distance of 141 feet, more
or less, to said Tolbert Street;
thence Northerly along said Tol
bert Street 80 feet to the begin
ning point. This property has lo
cated thereon a dwelling house pre
viously occupied by Mrs. J. R.
Farr.”
