The Chattahoochee Club met at
the schoolhouse Tuesday November
15 with 12 members present.
The meeting was called to order
the nresident, Mrs. Eldred Wat
son. Mrs. Roy Holtzclaw—Devotion
al reading Psalm 111.
“Sweet Hour of Prayer" was our
song led by Mrs. Roscoe Thomas.
Poem by Mrs. Mattie Robbs —
“From A Full Heart". Mrs. W. S.
Turner led us in prayer.
The minutes of our last meeting
waas read by our Secretary-Treas
urer. We answered the roll call by
naming something for which we
are thankful for.
No old business was presented
so we entered into the new busi
ness for this month, which was
electing officers for the year.

V-president—Mrs. Roy Holtzclaw
Sec-Treas. —Mrs. Wansley Watson
Reporter —Mrs. Joe Shadburn
4 Adviser—Mrs. Herbert Young

Mrs. Roscoe Thomas invited the
members to her house for the
Christmas party. We plan to meet
for a covered dish lunch and carry
gifts not to exceed SI.OO. We will
(draw names after we get there.
We are planning a Cake Walk
the first Friday night in December
to raise money for our club ex
penses.
The meeting was turned over to
Mrs. Bannister. She had a demon
stration on Christmas decorations
that everyone enjoyed, and plan to
make some of these for our own
homes.
Our recreation chairman, Mrs.
Joe Shadburn was absent, so we
omitted games. Mrs. Howard Hol
land and Mrs. Wansley Watson ser
ved Cake, Cookies and Coffee.
Lets plan to have a real nice
Christmas party at Mrs. Thomas
house next month.
