Other cooperators with the Up per Chattahoochee River Soil Con servation District arc making plans for release cuttings In their wood lands in order that desirable spec ies of pines will predominate. J. L. Spruce SCS technician spent last week supervising the planting of pine seedlings on the borrow area of the Spot community flood prevention dam which was on land owned by Cliff Johnson. Ed Norrell near Coal Mountain reports planting a number of pine seedlings. Rade B. Sexton on the Silver City Matt road is planting 400 pine seed lings. Information at this time indicate 100,000 pine seedlings will be plant ed in the Settingdown Creek Water shed this planting season.
