LA CROSSE, WIS.— Forma
tion of a unique new, national
marketing service, which will of
fer employment to the more than
.'t,000,000 handicapped persons in
the United States has been com
pleted here. Under the new plan,
any handicapped person, from
the less severe cardiac patients
to the more confined polio pa
tients, paraplegics, etc. may be
come a licensed dealer for a line
of nationally accepted products.
Full or part time participation of
the handicapped individual is
possible.
Crusade, Inc., formed only a
year ago, has since its begin
ning employed only the handi
capped, and will continue this
new phase of operation to re
cruit its dealers 100% from this
group. Heading the new organi
zation is Warren Loveland, who
for years has been vitally inter
ested in problems of the handi
capped. Loveland heads the state
of Wisconsin March of Dimes
campaign this year.

persons, usually have had little
opportunity to accumulate funds.
Crusade’s new enterprise re
quires no investment on the part
of the applicant. It does pyt to
good use, however, abundance of
time and turns these hours of in
activity to production of needed
income.
“Physicians who have made
studies of handicapped activi
ties,” says Loveland, “attest to
the worthwhile therapeutic value
of such participation, in giving
them again the important feeling
that attends pride of accomplish
ment.”
Handicapped people are in
vited to correspond directly with
the organization (Crusade, Inc.,
La Crosse, Wise.). Officials of
Crusade also are contacting the
nation’s manufacturers and
wholesalers to acquire a variety
of quality products to marketed
through the new network.
To get to know life fully doesn't mean that
one has to get down into the gutter.
