Any competitor looks good after the champion sof
tens up the opposition.
NiCarb can make any competitive coccidiostat
look good the first couple of times if that agent fol
lows NiCarb. This is so because only NiCarb lowers
the oocyst population so drastically. But without
NiCarb in there punching, uncontrolled coccidiosis
can make a comeback against any other coc
cidiostat.
Why gamble with less effective or untested coc
cidiostats? There's only one sure way to cut coxy
mortality to ZERO and eliminate costly tissue dam
age. Just keep feeding starter mashes and grow
er feed containing NiCarb. But be sure and check
the tag. If it doesn’t say Nicarbazin, NiCarb— the
champ—is not in the bag. Merck & Cos., Inc.,

4-H'ers Win Club
Congress Trips
Two happy 4-H Club girls won
trips to the 36th annual 4-H Club
Congress in Chicago, Dec. 1-5.
They are Beulah Denham, 15, of
Turner County, and Betty Lowry,
18, of Terrell County, according
to an announcement made by the
State 4-H Club office.
Beulah Denham Betty Lowry
Health and happiness walk

won the state 4-H Health award.
Learning to share a responsibil
ity in home and community
health and welfare helped Beulah
win the Congress trip provided
by Eli Lilly & Cos.
TV and radio talks on ant con
trol. health and safety featured
Beulah’s 4-H activities. She also
distributed health posters and
assisted in hookworm surveys in
her community.
Beulah was teen-age chairman
of a polio drive in Inaha last year
which collected more than $2,300
to fight the disease.
A five year 4-H’er, Beulah was
vice president and president of
the Inaha “Working Hands” 4-H
Club and health chairman of the
county 4-H organization.
Betty knows how to make a
house a real home. Proof of her
ability is that she won the state
4-H award in Girls’ Home Eco
nomics. Rewarding this future
homemaker with a trip to Club
Congress is Montgomery Ward,
donor of awards for the 34th con
secutive year.
In seven years of 4-H work,
Betty achieved an impressive list
of household accomplishments,
sharing many responsibilities
with her family.
Betty won a first premium rib
bon at the Chattahoochee Valley
Exposition at Columbus. Eleven
other blue ribbons came from a
like number of exhibits at the
Southwest Georgia Fair at Al
bany. She is now a freshman at
Andrew College.

"I feel like a
in my new kitchen!"
EVERY WOMAN dreams of a kitchen that is both
beautiful and practical, but she may need some
help in planning it. That’s when our Home Service
Division is happy to lend a hand, at no cost or
obligation. Last year these experienced home
economists designed 1,801 modern, work-saving,
time-saving kitchens for Georgia homemakers.
They also plan home laundries, home lighting
and wiring. Their job is to help you enjoy the
comfort and convenience of electrical living. Extra
service, some may call it, but to us it is just
making electric service extra good.
