Bill Bennett has been improving a nine acre stand of pines by prop er thinning. The trees taken out have been sold as pulpwood. By taking out the right number of trees the remaining ones will have more head room for sun light, more root room for taking in moisture and plant food thus mak ing for better tree growth.
