BATTLE OF THE
CORAL SEA
IN MEMORY
Of our loving Father Mr. Bud
McConnell who departed this life
February 25, 1955. Papa is gone
hut not forgotten.
Never will his memories fade.
Sweetest thoughts will ever ling
er around the grave where he
was laid.
We loved him, yes we loved him.
But the Angles loved him more
and they sweetly called him to
the other shore.
In the graveyard softly sleeping
Where flowers wail and wave
Lies the body of one we loved
so dearly in his silent lonely
grave.
But his memories will be cherish
ed till we see His Heavenly face.
Written by his daughter.
