ATLANTA HWY,
Six Flogs Presents
Music 01 America
The songs and music of A
merica, from Dixie, Tin Pan
Alley, the American West,
Broadway, and the Spiritual, are
all protrayed in a new musical
revue in the Six Flags Over
Georgia Crystal Pistol Music
Hall.
Presented in a rousingpatri
otic performance titled “Red,
White, and Blue Revue", the
songs and music that have made
American music what it is to
day, are presented by ten col
lege and high school students
supported by an eleven-piece
orchestra.
From the opening curtain,
which rises to sounds of
"You’re A Grand Old Flag",
to the grand finale, the gen
eral approach to the "Red,
White, and Blue Revue" does
not hinge on a plot, but ra
ther on a fast moving series of
familiar tunes show-casing the
history of American music.
Shows are scheduled for six
or seven performances each
operating day at Six Flags Ov
er Georgia which opened for
its third season April 12 with
weekend operations, Saturdays
and Sundays 10 a.m. until 10
p.m. thru June 6 when daily
operations begin.
Two different casts will per
form in the "Red, White, and
Blue Revue" during summer
operation with one company
performing every hour on the
hour from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
and the second company per
forming from 4 p.m. until 8
p.m.
The Crystal Pistol Music Hall
show is just one of the many live
entertainments involving some
150 young performers at Six
Flags Over Georgia.
The annual show at the Crys
tal Pistol is one of the featured
highlights of Six Flags’ 75
rides, attractions, and shows.
