Awarded For Roads
The State Highway Board and
the state Department of Trans
portation have taken a “most
significant" step, according to
Bert Lance, State Transport
ation Director.
The Department will imple
ment a multi-project program
ing and scheduling system which
eventually should increase the
number of projects the Depart
ment has underway and decr
ease the preparation time tor
each protect.
“This is really one of the
most significant undertakings
the Department has ever gone
