The low rates apply all weekend, too.
And look what you'll save

27 Years
No Accident
JEKYLL ISLAND How’d
you like to try to drive more
than 100,000 miles a year with
out an accident?
Make that 100,000 miles a
year for 27 years.
If that doesn’t seem tough
enough, make It behind the wheel
of a tractor-trailer unit.
Give up? Howard T. Mulllnax,
of 4793 Wright Road, Smyrna,
hasn’t. He’s in the midst of his
28th year as a driver for Fleet
Transport Company’s Atlanta
terminal without an accident of
any kind. At the end of his
27 th year he had totaled
2,800,000 miles.
The 51-year-old Smyrnan was
crowned “Truck Driver - of
the-Year” Saturday by conven
tionlng members of the Georgia
Motor Trucking Association.
Before hearing an address by
Bert Lance, director of the
Georgia Department of Trans
portation, the GMTA’ers also
presented an award to Robert
A. Wilder, GMTA’s director of
