The
Living
Way
By ROGER WILLIAMS

' The song GIVE ME A VISION Is a particularly apt song for
today especially in our own county. Visions are needed today by
all of us as we strive to make our world a more liveable,
enjoyable place. As toe population and business explosion
looms just ahead of us we must gear up to meet toe changes
mat' are coming whether we are ready or not. This is of interest
to me as I have lived before in an area that was rapidly inun
dhted with people and commerce. Such a change demands action
nOt only on toe political and economic stage but in toe areas of
human dignity and morality.
Great numbers of people living close together means measures
must be taken by all to insure peace and prosperity for all.
This is one area where toe churches must play a vital role.
We can no longer afford to be content thinking that people will
come to us simply because we’re here. Christianity is going
jo have to be a lot more attractive than what most of us see
to reach toe masses of people and say anything worthwhile to
them. One reason Jesus had toe following that he did was because
he made religion attractive and useful. He was attractive and
magnetic himself and his sense of joy and humor was a refresh
ing change to toe drab sameness of their current religious
scene. Christians, let’s take heed before it’s too late.

"If there’s one God, why are there
so many religions?”
That's a question that has plagued
thoughtful people for centuries.
Religions often have seemed to divide
men rather than join them —which
could hardly be God’s will.
In our time, so full of wonders, we're
witnessing what may be the greatest
wonder of all: the growing force of
