Revival meeting closed at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church
Sunday, two weeks ago. The pastor, Reverend Tommy Hender
son was assisted by the Reverend John Lummus with nine add
itions to the church.
Mr and Mrs W.L. Wood visited their children Mr and Mrs
Gilbert Chung and Alan in Seymore, Indiana recently.
Miss Gwen Bagwell and Mr Danny Bishop were married
Saturday afternoon at the home of the bride's parents Mr
and Mrs Bill Bagwell. Best wishes to this fine couplet
Mr and Mrs Seldon Anderson and daughters, Sharon and
Cladv. from Arkansas are on a visit her with Mr and Mrs
Ralph Bennett and other relatives.
» Mr and Mrs J.W. Chesire returned home after spending
a week in Illinois as the guest of Mr and Mrs Harry Small
bone.
Mr and Mrs Carl Stovall along with their children Dr. and
Mrs Gene Glenn, Susan and Scott returned home after spend
ing a month touring the Northern states and Canada.
Sympathy is extended to the family of Mrs Gusta Heard who
passed away last week, she was the mother of Mr. Curtis He
ard of our community.

they took Muddy (4) and Jody (6) fishing at Rainbow Lakes. The trout were really biting go

ter, Joy, enjoyed a vacation In Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
Charles Mathis and Rita Watson Woods were married re
cently at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr and Mrs Wans
ley Watson.

Mathis who are on the sick list at their home.
Glad to report Mr Lloyd Johnson convalescing at his home a

Whitaker of Forest Park, Mr and Mrs Buster Harris of Daw
sonville, Mrs Lorene Veal of Buford visited Mr and Mrs Jim
Bennett Sunday.
Mrs Mabel Norman of Atlanta spent the weekend with her
sister Mrs Ruby Chesire.
