FARR ATTENDS OPENING—Forsyth County Republican chairman, Bass Farr of Cumming,
attended the recent statewide headquarters opening for Republican candidate for Govenor,
Harry Geisinger. Geisinger, a member of the Georgia House of Representatives since 1968, has
named Mrs. W. R. Dunn of Cumming as his Forsyth County campaign chairman.

Mrs. Calvin Smith of Man
chester; two brothers, Calvin
Wayne Smith, Senoia and Ray
C. Smith of Alpharetta;
grandmother, Mrs. Mildred
Thompson of Warm Springs
and several nieces and
nephews.
Graveside services were
held last Saturday at 4 p.m. at
Bethesda Methodist Church
Cemetery in Manchester.

CELEBRATE—Virginia Tutton of Roswell celebrated her 90th
birthday last Sunday. Virginia, better known as Ginny, was
born and raised at the foot of Sawnee Mountain near Cum
ming. She celebrated at her home in Roswell with her three
daughters. Mrs. Tutton boasts of 22 grandchildren and lots of
great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Ricky and Linda and their

New Hours
New office hours have been announced for The Forsyth
County News by Publisher-Editor Jim Cosey.
The News office will be open Mondays and Tuesdays
from Ba.m. to sp.m. On Wednesday the office will be open
from 8 a jn. to 12 noon. Thursdays and Fridays the office
will be open for business from 8 ajn. to 5 p.m. The new
hours will be on Saturdays from 8 am. to 12 noon.
Cosey said the new Saturday hours are being set up to
offer more service to the people of the community.
