the only thing you can

“HEADS” or “TAILS”...
EXCEPT AT THE
BANK OF CUMMING!
Here you can trade in 100 pennys
for a crisp new dollar bill and
get a dime to boot! (Yes, you
read it right...* 1.10 for $ 1 in pennys).
Why? Because our local merchants
have run into a critical shortage of

Craftsman To Display
Three Dimensional Art
When Jim and Jean DeSana
decided last year that they
would make their Christmas
gifts, they never dreamed that
Jean’s gift from Jim would
•urn into a hobby, which may
be an avocation in his
retirement years ahead.
Jim gathered sticks and
stones from their 10 acre
farm, Fern Valley, and made
a three dimensional picture
for Jean, a biologist. This
weekend he will display his art
including a mill wheel in
percetive, the first he did after
a visit to his daughter in
Tennessee, at the Lanier Fair.
A senior engineer with GM
in Doraville, handcraft is not
new to Jim. He and Jean did
all of the inside of their rustic
home in Forsyth County. He
has built a replica of the
covered bridge over a creek at
his home.
Jim has a spiral stairway,
leading to a second floor
balcony, that he constructed.
