Kingdom Age
On The Way
by:rev. jimmy barnes

lit our past few columns
we have seen six different
dispensations of time in
which God tested mans’ obe
dience to him and likewise
we have understood that
each time period was a time
on this earth and was not
spiritualized, it was literal.
Why then do preachers try to
spiritualize the seventh
dispensation of time in which
God will test man’s obe
dience under righteous rule.
This dispensation of time
is often called the millen
nium which is the kingdom
age. It is a period of time
right here on this earth.
You say you disagree, well
let’s see what thus sayeth the
Lord.
Rev. 20:1-4, and I saw an
angel come down from
heaven. Having the keys to
the bottomless pit, and a
great chain in his hand. And
he laid hold on the dragon.
That ole serpant, which is
the devil and Satan and
bound him a thousand years,
and cast him into the bot
tomless pit and shut him up
and set a seal upon him that
he should decree the nations
no more till the thousand
years should be fulfilled.
And after that he must be
loose a little season. And I
saw thrones and they that
sat upon them and judge
ment was given unto them:
and I saw the souls of them
that were beheaded for the
witness of Jesus and for the
word of God. And which had
not worshipped the beast.
Neither his image neither
had received his mark upon
their foreheads or in their
hands. And they lived and
reigned with Christ a thou
sand years.
First of all we see Satan
will be bound for a thousand
years, we only have to check
history to know that Satan
has run rampant from the
time of his fall until now. So
we know this has to be
future. “We-know also the
fined end of Satan is to be
cast into the lake of fire and
yet this scripture says that
after the thousand years he
will be loosed for a little
season, so time is still going
on.
John said also that he saw
thrones and judgement was
given to them.
In Matthew 19:27, Peter
addresses Jesus and says,

“Behold we have forsaken
all and followed thee. What
shall we have therefore?”
The Lord’s reply in verse 28
was “verily I say unto you
that ye who have followed
me in the regeneration when
the son of man shall sit on
the throne of glory. Ye shall
also sit upon twelve thrones.
Judging the twelve tribes of
Israel. Now you remember
the promise of Israel was an
earthly promise a promise of
an inheritance of land. Read
Gen. 15:18, Israel has yet to
posess that land because of
their disobedience to God.
The word regeneration
means the recreation of the
social order which is just
after the seven years of
tribulation on this earth.
This promise given to Peter
and the apostles was literal.
Not spiritual. They have yet
to be judges over the twelve
tribes of Israel.
Next John saw the souls of
them who were murdered by
the anti-Christ and his
followers during the tribula
tion period because of their
faith.
I would like to mention
here that there will be people
saved during the seven year
tribulation period, however
it will only be those who have
never heard the Gospel
before and we are told that
two-thirds of the world have
never heard a gospel
message. Dear friend if you
reject Jesus now and the
rapture takes place tonight,
you are condemned to Hell
and God said in II Thes. 2:11,
that he would send strong
delussion that they would
believe a lie.
We know that these souls
are those who were in the
tribulation peiord because
they would not take the mark
of the beast so we see that it
is yet future.
Now the last point is that
they will reign with Christ
for a thousand years. Some
say that this (the reign of
Christy is in our hearts. How
do you get 12 apostles on
twelve thrones. Judging the
twelve tribles of Israel and
all of their souls who have
not yet been killed for their
testimony, into our hearts.
The only way we can
understand it is to take it,
literally and be blessed by
the great truth it holds for
every believer. We will con
tinue this subject next week.

A lot of the commercials
seen on TV today deal not on

they also carry a flavor of
human relationships.
Take for instance the Pep

Coca-Cola. What seems to
touch our heart strings is not
the food or drink but the peo

I think that’s why we need
to be thankful for the fact
that Jesus came in the flesh.
He came in such a way that

Jesus Was Bom Of Virgin
BY DR. F. MACON HUNT
Forsyth Bible Class
In the Gospel of Luke, it is
recorded, “He shall be
great, He shall be called the
son of the highest and He
shall reign (future) on His
father David’s throne and of
His kingdom there shall be
no end.”
We wonder if Christ is God
and many people, including
some preachers don’t
believe Christ was born of a
virgin. One asked me, “What
difference does it make?” It
makes all the difference in
the truth of the Bible and
whether Christ was Divine
or not.
Luke called Christ the
“Son of the Highest.” This is
the same name Abraham

Why was Christ called the

some say Christ was born

The reason for the virgin
birth of Christ was that the

a fallen nature as other men,
but He would have the sin
