Olympics
Here Was
A Success
To The Editor:
As evidenced by the smiles
on the children’s faces, the
1981 Forsyth County Special
Olympics were a tremen
dous success! Many of our
athletes are continuing to
district and state competi
tion.
We would like to thank our
special friends whose inter
est, enthusiasm and unself
ish efforts gave a special
person a chance to grow and
a chance to know the joy of
sports and athletic competi
tion through participation in
the Special Olympics Pro
gram.
The success of the Olym
pics was made possible by
your generous support. Your
continued support will con
tribute to the future success
of the games.
