will perform two concerts at
the Atlanta theme park be

“Surfin USA,” “Help Me
Rhonda,” ‘‘California

‘‘409,” “Little Deuce
Coupe,” “Be True To Your
School,” and on, and on, and

Brian, Carl and Dennis
Wilson teamed with Mike
Love and A 1 Jardine in 1961,

Home Economist Pat Kil
mark plans to hold the Tues-
Workshop
On Sexual
Assault
Violence Against Women:
A Literary Perspective is a
program that is being of
fered through the Continuing
Education Office at Gaines
ville Junior College.
Sexual violence against
women is more prevalent
than homicide, but taboos
about this subject prevent it
from being discussed in open
forums. The program will
provide public information
to facilitate community
awareness of the problem of
sexual assault.
This workshop will be held
in the Lanier Room of the
Student Center at Gaines
ville Junior College on June
25 from 7 until 9 p.m.
This same program also
will be offered at the Chesta
tee Regional Library in Gai
nesville on the same date
from 11 a.m. until 12 noon.
This workshop is made
possible through the Georgia
Ed Endowment for the Hu
manities.
There is no fee and the
instructor will be Marvin
Weinstraub.
ATTIC FAN
An attic fan is still a good
way to keep your house cool
for most of the day, say
Cooperative Extension Serv
ice engineers. And an attic
fan doesn’t use nearly as
much energy as air condi
tioning.

Ms. Kilmark is full of the
virtures of the umbrella
skirt. One or two can be
made without spending a for
tune. Anyone can make it,
she says. It is an ideal first
sewing project.
Yet, if umbrella skirts are
bought in a store, they will
cost around $35 each.
After seeing the demon
stration, only two yards of
lightweight fabric will be
needed to make one.
Also, the umbrella skirt
has a drawstring , tie belt so
it may be tied smaller and
