sumers make during
Georgia’s hot summer
months.
That’s the hard fact that

active life and junior mem
bers, is the largest beef
cattle registry association in
the world. Its computerized

shift, or to defer, the use of
electricity during hot sum
mer afternoons and in early
evening hours to avoid cre
The association records
ancestral information and
keeps records of production
on individual animals for its
members. These permanent
records help members select
and mate the best animals in
their herds to produce high
quality, efficient breeding
cattle which are then re
corded with the American
Angus Association. Most of
these registered angus are
used by the U.S. farmers and
ranchers who raise high
quality beef for U.S. con
sumption.

after several consecutive hot
days. As in past years, local
radio stations will broadcast
bulletins to alert consumers
