Packing For Vacation
If summertime means
family vacation time to you,
you should take time to
check a list before you pack
vour bags.
If you’re driving, be sure
your car or recreation vehi
cle is properly serviced.
Check the jack and the infla
tion. Pack flares, flashlight,
first aid kit, litter bag, dupli
cate keys, booster cables,
insurance information and
car registration.
Your insurance forms
should be in order. That
means homeowner’s, auto
mobile, recreation vehicle,
boat, and accident and
health insurance.
If camping is your ideal
vacation, make sure all
camping equipment is in
good working order. Pack
cooking utensils, dinner
ware, sleeping bags, towels
and all those odds and ends
you wish you had taken last
time. Plan menus, and do
food shopping and prelimi
nary preparation. If the bi
cycles go along on the trip,
get a tune-up and have the
proper tools along for re
pairs.
GOING ABROAD?
If you’re going abroad,
you'll need some special doc
uments and a good hiding
place. An international driv
er’s license, passport, any
visas, international certifi
cate of vaccinations, and
possibly a Eurailpass.
Get travelers’ checks and
keep track of which ones
you've written. Check the
camera and pick up film,
