of traditional festivities
along with outdoor recre

Both Saturday and Sun

1,200-acre recreation resort,
including a Mini-Golf tourna
ment with qualifying rounds
set for July 4 and final
rounds July 5. Prizes will be
awarded.

was the guest speaker Mon
day morning for Flag Day
ceremonies at the Veterans
Administration Medical Cen
ter in Decatur.

administrator, served as
master of ceremonies for the
occasion which marked the
dedication of an “avenue of
flags” in front of the huge
medical facility on Clair
mont Road.
The flags, 60 of them and
costing over S4OOO, were do
nated by civic associations,
veterans groups, service or
ganizations and individuals
in someone’s honor or as a
memorial tribute to a loved
