game.
But the Wildcats saw their
hopes vanish when a Trojan
defensive back picked off a
pass in the endzone to end
the threat and secure the
game.
North Forsyth got on the
scoreboard first in the game
when quarterback Robby
Payne lofted a 49-yard pass
to Travis Harbin in the sec

Brett Shadbum for the two
point conversion was com

an 8-0 lead.
However, North Hall took
the ensuing kickoff and
drove the length of the field
to score a touchdown and
two-point conversion to tie
the game.
With time running out in
the first half, North Hall
received two pass interfer
ence calls from the officials
which helped to move the
Trojans without striking dis
tance of the goal line. North
Hall scored as time expired
in the half to take a 14-8 lead
into the locker room.
In the third quarter, North
hall increased its lead to 22-8
on a touchdown and success
ful two-point conversion on
its first possession.
Brett Shadbum returned
the Trojans’ kickoff 58 yards
to the 15-yard line as the
Wildcats sought to get back
the score. But North Hall
Recovered a fumble on the
first play from scrimmage,
thwarting a golden scoring
opportunity for the Wildcats.
In the final quarter, Pay
ne’s passing led the Wildcats
down the field for a touch
down to close the margin to
22-14. The scoring strike
came on a four-yard toss to
