Studio, Park Planned
I Lang Elliott, an experi
enced Hollywood producer,
pulled out of California ten
years ago, to set up an At
lanta based motion picture
company. He was the first of
£j group of film makers that
eventually would leave Cali
fornia for the clear skies of
Georgia.
‘ Elliot is now working on
several films, and a $50,000,-
QOO studio/theme park, to be
built in Atlanta. No specific
site for the park has been
determined, however, the fa
cility should be located near
13 major entertainment area

Construction of the studio
/theme park is expected to
begin in mid to late 1983; and
is to be completed within 18-

ment has been proposed for
the complex.
The building will contain
about 500,000 square feet of
enclosed space. Lang Elliott
Studios/Entertainment Cen
ter will cover approximately
ten acres.
The companies moving
into the complex would in
clude a major motion picture
laboratory, a mobile equip
ment company, special ef
fects and sound effects
companies, television pro
duction companies, cable
and television companies,
motion picture production
companies, record compa
nies and so on.
The office complex will
include housing for a produc
tion company, talent agen
cies, distribution companies,
etc. Technical facilities will
include sound stages, and
