Develop A System To
Do Your Housekeeping

There are times when we
all have the beautiful feeling
that comes from knowing
our house is completely or
ganized and clean. This is
usually when we have just
painted or reorganized clos
ets, finished seasonal clean
ing, moved into a new house,
or in the middle of an honest
to-goodness dream. Unfortu
nately this wonderful feeling
is short-lived for most of us
and we come back to reality.
If one day you have that
“I’m swamped” feeling and
make up your mind to move
through your house like a
wild tornado tossing out ev
erything you don’t need and
putting everything else back
and in order, this informa
tion may help you.
How and where should you
start? There are no real
rules. There are too many
variables such as kind of
dirt, whether the home has
air conditioning, attitudes,
size of the family and age of
the children.
A system helps. Before
you begin, collect cleaning

Brookwood To
Hold Singing
The annual singing at
Brookwood Baptist Church
will be held on Sunday, Oct.
10, at 7 p.m. Supper will be
served at 6 p.m.
The church expects a good

singers are planning to at

FAD DIETS GO FLAT
Fad diets may offer a
quick way to lose weight, but
there is no guarantee that
the fad diet itself will help
you lose weight. Georgia Ex
tension Service nutritionists
say many fad diets allow you
to eat all you want of one
type of food like meat, ba
nanas or grapefruit. This
diet counts on the fact that
you will get tired of eating
this food so you will eat less.
If you eat less, you lose
weight. But your body needs
many different foods to keep
it going.
